BMG Community Relations: "Taking Corporate Social Responsibility Seriously"
Here at BMG we believe that every company has the duty to conduct its business in a manner that benefits the local communities in which it is operating as well as the global community in which we all work. As a construction company we therefore place a particularly great emphasis on creating buildings that are environmentally friendly and sustainable. The BMG green building philosophy ensures we are able to achieve both of these goals. To find out more about our green building program, please click [here].
Whilst proud of our strong green building reputation, BMG believes that a company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) should extend beyond the immediate field in which it operates. To tackle the many problems facing individual communities, nations, continents and the international environment as a whole, a company must be prepared to offer support in other areas, to understand CSR not as a tool of private companies, but as a genuine need of the global community.
For this reason, BMG has established a close partnership with the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (ICD). The programs run by the ICD create sustainable, intercultural and interdisciplinary networks of Young Leaders throughout the world. These Young Leaders, the leaders of tomorrow, gain the knowledge and skills to improve intercultural relations in their home communities, as well as create international relationships with their fellow young leaders.
